It's now 8:42 PM (according to my Mac) on a day 6 years ago was landmark in time for our generation... Yup, September 11.
I know it's already September 12 over there where y'alls are as I'm writing this, but I just wanted to put in a little reminder what happened this day 6 years ago. Ashamedly, I didn't even remember what day it was until a random scholar said the date out loud. But today, the war still rages on.
Now enough of the cynical depressed English major! "Michelle" a.k.a Shu Hui reminded me that I have yet to describe my current living conditions. =) I live in a 2-room "condo" apartment, with a girl whose father owns the apartment; I'm gonna have a new roommate come October. It is about 20 steps away from the pool (I counted) and maybe 10 to the laundry room. Very awesome!
I have 3 animals for protection -- a half pitbull/half lab mix (Bagheera), a barky chihuahua (Napoleon) and a declawed furry cat of unknown origin (Valentine). I think the new roommate is gonna add a Persian kitty to the mix because her family breeds them (she's Persian, haha). But so far life has been good, I'm headed up to San Francisco via roadtrippin! before school starts. My digicam is broke right now, so when I get it up again I'll post pics!
I hope you are all having a good school term, I will try and bring back presents for you alls! =)

i still rem the clip on the twin towers.. i was studying for an exam in front of the tv.. then this 'movie trailer' came on.. 'wow hollywood has outperformed themselves again'.. then after a lag.. 'eh.. why is there such a weird news update? why is it describing the 'movie trailer'? nvm.. study study..'

Ya i agree with the zoo bit, haha, add some potted plants & the place shd be complete. Great to hear yj is having lots of fun.. good luck with the roadtrip too ;)
